Aydenne's last album available on all the usual channels (Spotify, Amazon etc.) ,  'Blue Skies' features songs that are favourites of both Aydenne and one of her favourite pianists Liam Stevens.  Every single song is a gem in its own right!

Aydenne currently works with her fabulous jazz trio 'The Big Mama Trio', incorporating  Aydenne’s nickname 'Big Mama'.  'The Big Mama Trio' consists of three of London's finest jazz musicians; Tom Dring (Bass), Olly Chalk (Piano) and Gwilym Jones (Drums), and together they have had the pleasure of playing sell-out shows at some of the finest venues.

Aydenne’s most important influence is Sarah Vaughan.  When Aydenne was only 6 years old her father, also a ‘Jazzer’, gave her a Sarah Vaughan album, called ‘You’re Mine You’, produced by Quincy Jones.  That album has been a lifelong inspiration to Aydenne because Sarah Vaughan and Aydenne Simone share that rare deep, velvety contralto tone, (rare amongst female jazz singers), her playfulness, and the love of a 'pretty song’ and the ability to ‘swing like the clappers'.
